Can’t sign in? Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account, send us a request. We will confirm your identity by writing to the email address registered with the account, and delete the account within 30 days.

In the app or on your phone
The same option is built into the app and the website:
- Open Dodolist and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Dashboard → Account Details.
- Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
What happens to your data
Deleted straight away
- Your account — you are signed out and can no longer sign in.
- All your ads, including photos, are taken offline and disappear from the marketplace, from search and from Google.
- Your profile, saved listings and search alerts are no longer accessible.
Kept for a while, and why
- Messages and chat photos you already sent stay visible to the person you were writing with — as in any messaging app.
- Records needed to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations, for as long as the law requires.
- Server logs, for a short period, for security.
Want everything erased, including the records above? Write to support@dodolist.mu and we will erase your personal data within 30 days and confirm in writing. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
