Introduction

Welcome to dodolist.mu (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Platform”), operated by DigitAI Solutions Ltd. By accessing or using dodolist.mu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

Eligibility and user accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use dodolist.mu.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

Geographic restriction

• Posting of advertisements is strictly limited to goods and services located on the Island of Mauritius.
• You may only create listings for items, services, or opportunities that are physically located within Mauritius.
• We reserve the right to remove any advertisements or content that do not comply with this geographic restriction.

User content and conduct

• Users may create, upload, and share content (including listings, messages, images, and other information) on the Platform.
• You retain ownership of your content but grant dodolist.mu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Platform.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post and any consequences arising from it.

Prohibited content and activities

• Posting false, misleading, fraudulent, sexual or illegal content.
• Listing weapons of any kind — including firearms, replica and airsoft guns, ammunition and knives intended as weapons.
• Listing drugs, medicines requiring a prescription, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or protected wildlife.
• Offering occult, esoteric or faith-based services and any promise of supernatural results — including fortune telling, clairvoyance, palm or tarot reading, astrology consultations, spell casting, love spells, “return of a lost lover”, curse or evil-eye removal, exorcism, spiritual, traditional or miracle healing, marabout, longaniste, guru or similar services, and charms, amulets or talismans sold with a promise of luck, love, health, protection or wealth. Selling the physical objects themselves — books, tarot decks, jewellery, incense, statues or decorative items — remains allowed, provided the listing makes no supernatural claims.
• Infringing on any third-party rights, including intellectual property.
• Harassing, threatening, or defaming others.
• Distributing spam, viruses, or harmful materials.
• Manipulating listings, fees, or Platform processes.
• Collecting or harvesting user data without consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Content standards, automated moderation and strikes

• Every listing must include at least one photo before it can be published; listings without a photo are saved as drafts.
• Uploaded photos and AI-assisted listings are automatically screened (Google image analysis and AI review) for prohibited content.
• If content you submit is flagged as prohibited, your account receives a recorded warning (“strike”) and publishing is temporarily suspended — normally for 24 hours, longer for repeated violations. Severe or repeated violations can lead to permanent account termination.
• If you believe a strike was issued in error, contact support@dodolist.mu and we will review it.

AI features and automatic translation

• The AI listing assistant generates titles, descriptions, category and price suggestions. They are non-binding aids — you are responsible for reviewing and correcting them before publishing.
• Listings are machine-translated into English, French and Mauritian Creole. Translations are provided for convenience; in case of doubt the seller’s original text prevails.

Bookings

• For service listings, users can request appointments and providers can confirm, decline or cancel them. Dodolist only transmits these requests — the agreement about the service itself is made solely between the users.
• We do not guarantee that a confirmed appointment takes place or that the service is delivered as described.

Paid services

• Dodolist Pro is an optional paid subscription (billed through Stripe) that unlocks additional features such as boutique branding, listing boosts, analytics and bulk import.
• You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees for elapsed periods are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Included quotas (e.g. monthly boosts) reset monthly and do not carry over.

Marketplace transactions

• dodolist.mu acts as a platform for users to list, buy, sell, or exchange goods and services. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any items listed.
• All transactions are conducted directly between users. We are not a party to any transaction and do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of items.
• Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to their listings and transactions.

Fraud prevention and liability

• Users are responsible for verifying the identity and legitimacy of other users before engaging in transactions.
• dodolist.mu is not liable for any loss, damage, or fraud resulting from user interactions or transactions.
• If you suspect fraudulent activity, report it immediately to support@dodolist.mu. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts involved in fraud.
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DigitAI Solutions Ltd. and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Limitation of liability

• dodolist.mu is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding the Platform’s availability, accuracy, or reliability.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any transactions or interactions between users.
• We do not guarantee that the Platform will be secure or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@dodolist.mu.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States (State of Florida), without regard to conflict of law principles.
